Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions: 3D Visualization of a New Production Technology for Factory Layout Planning
Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions, part of the multinational Freudenberg Group, manufactures, among other products, the iconic Vileda brand. In their Czech production plant, the team repeatedly faced challenges when integrating new machines and production lines into existing facilities.
Challenge
The traditional process—based on 2D drawings, floor taping, and cardboard boxes—was inaccurate, time-consuming, and often led to costly errors discovered only after the physical delivery of the machines. Communication with equipment manufacturers relied on video calls and screen sharing, which frequently caused misunderstandings and incomplete specifications.
Solution
Through a series of collaborative workshops, we designed and delivered a complete XR solution for efficient visualization of production technologies:
- Meta Quest 3 headsets
- JoinXR software enabling realistic 1:1 scale visualization
- Automatic 3D model optimization – ready for XR use within minutes
- Service plan ensuring technical support, adoption assistance, and regular updates on new features
Thanks to the intuitive user interface, employee training took just a few hours. Today, the team operates the technology fully independently, without external assistance.
