The RealWear HMT-1 smart glasses is a highly durable device designed to work in industrial environments with IP66 certification. The operating system is completely controlled by voice prompts. They have a wide range of protective gear mounting options, have integrated microphones and the battery can be easily replaced on the fly for continuous use, eliminating potential downtime. The glasses require a connection to a mobile phone to function properly. Without a connection to the phone, they have a limited range of functions.
The Epson Moverio Binocular Smart Glasses feature a semi-transparent display that displays information in the center of the worker’s field of view. They are operated using a touchpad or controller with buttons that is connected by cable to the glasses. The device is not very suitable for use in industrial environments. The company offers three models (BT-350, BT-2200, BT-40S) that differ in technical parameters, robustness and primary focus of use.
